The Buffet ICON clarinet barrel can be used for either Bb or A clarinet. It uses a new bore designed to give more focus, and core to the sound of the Buffet clarinet. Responsiveness, sound projection and definition of articulation are greatly facilitated by the new ICON clarinet barrel, contributing to the player’s comfort. The elegance of the body and the finely worked rings give this new barrel a distinctive style. The bore and the silhouette are the culmination of the latest acoustical research carried out Buffet Crampon on its family of clarinets. It enhances the qualities while preserving the characteristics of each of the brand’s models. The Buffet ICON clarinet barrel is standard available in a premium, unstained Grenadilla wood. However, Buffet will make ICON barrels out of their GreenLine composite on special order.
